Gwynn's Service Trip

I'm starting a journey that will impact my life—a service trip that crosses limitations, crosses cultures, and gives hope to those who need it. I am interested in discussing my goals for this journey and the very personal factors that motivate my desire to improve the lives of others. Making a difference in the lives of others who are less fortunate is the main reason I want to go on this volunteer trip. I think that every small act of compassion have the power to alter humanity. Serving others encourages me to develop compassion and empathy. It gives me the ability to interact with people whose everyday struggles I may never completely know, which makes me more sympathetic and understanding. My faith is very important to me, and I think that serving others is a way that I can show my faith. I hope that through taking part in this journey, I can strengthen my spiritual connection and discover a feeling of fulfillment in helping people who are in need. I want to immerse myself in another culture in order to better comprehend the world. It's a chance for me to widen my views and cultivate a feeling of global citizenship. I aspire to use the Spanish speaking skills that I have learned throughout the past eight years, I plan on using this skill to communicate with the kids present at the trip. I see my journey as a means of developing myself and discovering who I am. It will force me outside of my comfort zone and motivate me to adjust to unfamiliar surroundings and face difficulties. These encounters are priceless for one's personal growth.I believe God has called me to go on this trip and make a difference with my different gifts and talents and show God's love to others, so that I may learn more about servant leadership and humility. We will be working on building schools and communicating with children . This funds will help cover the cost of travel and materials for projects that we will be doing. Its an incredible way to make an impact in the community. This is more than what we give, but what we learn and bring back with us. This will develop a deeper sense of connection and broaden our views. Your support will make an impact in making something so great become a reality.
