When the Crandlemire-Keenleyside Family Legacy Fund (CKFL) was created in the Golden and District Community Foundation (GDCF) in 2010, Isabelle was tickled.  She thought it was a lovely way to give back to Golden in her parent’s honor in perpetuity in the name of health and wellness and became a regular donor to the fund. 

As a final gift, to the place she always called home - Isabelle has donated the bulk of her estate to the Golden and District Community Foundation in the CKFL Fund. A gift of $130,000.  She considered many charities for this gift, but felt that by giving locally, she could have impact and opportunity to build on the legacy of her family. Isabelle loved bright, colour and clash.  She loved what shone, what sparkled.  She loved her family deeply. She was the big-sister, the boss, the adventurer, and the care-taker.
