Giftmas Create-a-Thon

For the past several years my friends and I have been working together to raise money to help be a light in the darkness during the winter holiday season.

This year we are changing things up -- instead of doing a blog tour, we're going to do a create-a-thon, and instead of doing it in December when everyone is already super busy and there are extra demands on our wallets, we're going to try it in November.

We're keeping the 'Giftmas' name though. At least for this year :)

Each creator has set their own goals and are either accepting pledges from people (who promise to donate if the goal is met) or straight-up donations.

Here are some of our individual goals:

Rhonda Parrish -- Write 50,000 new words of fiction

BD Wilson -- Complete editing on 4 works/collections (5 as a stretch goal)

Stephanie A. Cain -- Write 30,000 words

Laura VanArendonk Baugh -- Create 6 travelogue videos and write 10,000 words

Jamie Perrault -- Write 50,000 words

Iseult Murphy -- Write 60,000 words

Cassandra Weir -- Write 50,000 words toward a new novel

All the creating will take place over the month of November, and then there will be ten days in December for donors to make good on their pledges.
