Funds for the Jacob Puddister Memorial Foundation

Hello! Our names are Kristi, Kaiden, Ari, Jill, and Katie. Each week we demonstrate at Confederation Building for better access to long-term mental healthcare. We are grateful for the strides in short term access, but believe there is a long way to go. For week 100 we want to do something special for mental health in this province have decided to fundraise for the incredible Jacob Puddister Foundation. Below is their mandate:

"At JPMF, our mission is to provide mental health resources to youth in Newfoundland and Labrador while contributing to the effort to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health challenges. We honour our mission by providing free counselling and peer-support to youth ages 12-35, creating groups to address the specific needs of folks in our community, and through various community partnerships that are aligned with our goals and values."

Although we don't believe that private organizations should be responsible for providing care, we recognize the beautiful and powerful work of the JPMF. Please consider donating to an incredible cause. Between Trivia ($2000 goal) and Canada Helps ($3000 goal), we hope to raise $5000!
