Fundraise for Farley Month-Talbot Animal Hospital

October is 'Fundraise for Farley' Month.  The Farley Foundation was formed by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA) to help low-income pet owners in Ontario by subsidizing the cost of non-elective veterinary care for their sick or injured pets.  Every October, veterinary clinics across Ontario unite to Fundraise for Farley. 

Since opening its doors in 2002, the Farley Foundation has disbursed more than $5 million to help more than 13,000 pets in need.

The Farley Foundation has helped several of our patients at Talbot Animal Hospital.  They have helped save the lives of cats with urinary tract obstructions (blocked cats), provided for dogs and cats with broken teeth that needed to be extracted to eliminate pain, and helped fund hospitalization for critically-ill dogs and cats.

This October, our clinic would like to give back.
