About Fundraiser

Fundraiser by Dean Anderson

Everesting is a challenge where the same hill is ridden over and over again until the 8849m elevation of Everest is reached. Walking or sleeping is not allowed. I am choosing to complete it in winter on snow while riding a fat bike. I will be riding a portion of the Pyramid Lake Fire Road in Jasper, AB 21 times. I anticipate it will take me about 30-35 hours.

Just as Everesting on snow is a challenge, with Christmas behind us and the recent business lockdowns due to COVID-19, many are finding these times challenging. It's a hard time of year for many, so let's do what we can to help!

Please join me in raising funds for the St. Albert Food Bank. They provide much needed food for those in need and also provide other services such as counselling and mental health support.

The date of the challenge will be January 14th. You can follow my progress on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/deanonwheels
