Emilie Lang is participating in the 2015 Dream Mountains Everest Base Camp trek, in support of CARE Canada.
I’m very proud to be doing my second climb as part of the Everest Base Camp 2015 team!
For me, the most rewarding aspect of a Dream Mountains climb is not actually completing the climb - it’s the accomplishment of bringing family, friends, and colleagues together for a common good: helping others in need, and raising awareness for our chosen seven charities.
I have the honour to be climbing on behalf of CARE Canada, an organization that focuses on assisting impoverished people (particularly women and children) around the world, notably through: improving education; increasing access to clean water and sanitation, and food security; to name but a few of their objectives.
I hope you’ll follow me on my journey, and help me make a difference!
