East York Strategy is a faith-based, community-supported initiative creating good and reducing crime in our neighbourhood. Six years ago East York Strategy created a summer camp for youth aged 8 -14 in the Pape and Cosburn community called “YOLO", which now stands for "Youth Overcoming Life Obstacles”. There is no cost to the youth who participate which means we need your help to fund the camp. This program is available to all at-risk youth in our neighbourhood. In the summer of 2017, we want to continue to build on our past success and reach over 100 families throughout the summer. Your donation today will help make Toronto Zoo trips a reality, help cover the cost of our weekly community dinners put on by our very own youth chefs and contribute in many other ways in helping to get kids and youth engaged in positive programming. Your donation will help Mackenzie be more comfortable on stage, Summer to learn how to bump a volleyball and Brajan to gain confidence in his leadership abilities.
