When I started growing out my hair I had a vague thought that when it reached a certain length I would cut it short again and donate.
But... a challenge arose.
My friend Lisa has also decided to shave her head in memory of her step-dad who passed away last year from cancer. Being the good friend I am (go ahead, laugh), I decided to not let her be bald alone. And, also being the competitive sort, I we've turned this into a fundraising challenge.
While I may be donating all my hair, I'm hoping that you will help raise the money to cover the cost of making a single wig to help a child struggling with cancer. Yes, it costs $2000 dollars to make a single wig.
Every dollar counts... and in the end, if you follow me on any social media platform you will get to see me with my head shaved right down. I mean, donation or not, I will be donating my hair. All I ask is that you make this all worthwhile.
