Thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page for the first Christie Lake Climb for Kids!
This project was designed to raise money for Christie Lake Kids, an organization based in Ottawa. They help make the lives of economically disadvantaged kids and youth better by providing experiences they would otherwise not be able to have.
I joined this adventure for two reason, first, to challenge myself both physically and mentally and second, to help support kids and youth in this city. As a vice-principal, I often see and hear kids with broken hearts because their parents can't afford to send them to summer camp. Christie Lake changes this for many kids. Make sure you visit their page to see all they offer! This is one small thing I can do to help better the lives of many children.
Our team of 16 will be taking part in a challenging climb to the Rainbow Mountain in Peru. As we train for this climb, we are looking for donations to support Christie Lake.
