The goal is to raise funds and awareness about childhood epilepsy. My nephew, Chase, is 5 years old and has lived with epilepsy since he was an infant. Chase has been seeking treatment aimed at finding the best combination of medicines to treat his seizures and to prevent and treat potential seizure emergencies. While the diagnosis and consequences of clonic tonic seizures can be catastrophic, more research can be targeted to improved treatment and, perhaps, find a cure. Chase's fight with epilepsy is definitely a test of endurance.

I won the 2016 Mongol Derby for Canada -- now Canada, help Chase and all other children win the fight against epilepsy.
