Baby/toddler gear for good

In support of Nikkei Place, which "shares the history, heritage and culture of the Nikkei (Japanese Canadian) community through diverse programs, events, and exhibits".

My great-grandfather Otoji Kamachi immigrated to Canada from Japan in the early 1900s. He served in the Canadian Army in WWI. He and his family (including my grandmother Kay) were interned at Popoff Farm in the second World War. 

The Nikkei museum will be a place where my children can learn about their Japanese Canadian ancestry.
