My name is Tyler Printess and in lieu of gifts this year, I am pledging my 27th birthday to Testicular Cancer Canada. After being diagnosed with testicular cancer at 26 this last spring and successfully overcoming it, I am inspired to talk openly about my experience in order to help other men and human beings with testicles build confidence and awareness about their health. Early detection & self examination is why I believe I was able to stop the cancer before it spread, and avoid further treatments. Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable forms of cancer yet it is also one of the most common forms of cancer in young adults with testicles. I believe we need more advocacy so that others can build more self awareness & confidence about their bodies.
I am grateful you are here, and I am even more grateful to be here celebrating yet another birthday with you! Cheers to 27 & good health!
