Theatre Calgary's Toonies For Turkeys

Since 1997, Theatre Calgary has collected donations after every performance of A Christmas Carol from audience members through an initiative called Toonies for Turkeys. Over the past 27 years, those audiences have donated more than $2.4 million, with 100% of that money going directly to the Calgary Food Bank.
