We are the NWT's longest-serving charitable organization, and have been dedicated to northern women and families for more than 50 years. Providing safe, affordable, supported housing is a key element of our mandate, as well as providing shelter from family violence to women and their dependent children at our shelters in Yellowknife and Fort Smith.
YWCA NWT provides youth empowerment programs - GirlSpace and Dudes Club, after-school care programs, employment readiness preparation, and food security programming.
