The Yukon Historical & Museums Association (YHMA) works to strengthen heritage in the Yukon through leadership, advocacy, and education.

We were established in 1977 by a group of concerned and passionate individuals wishing to create a united voice to support the Yukon's heritage and heritage organizations. Over the years, we have helped to build a community of learning and collaboration among those who protect, conserve and celebrate the Territory's rich and diverse heritage.

Our members collectively work to ensure the Yukon's special places, objects, stories, and traditions are safeguarded and shared with current and future generations of Yukoners and visitors from around the world.

Your donations will directly support YHMA's activities, such as:

* Ongoing conservation work on the historic houses of LePage Park in Whitehorse (where our offices are located!)

* Public programming such as Culture Days, Heritage Day, and the Heritage Awards that promote awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of the territory's rich and diverse heritage

* Educational programming such as the Yukon/Stikine Regional Heritage Fair, Yukon Heritage Symposium, and conferences.
