Youth Resources Niagra Inc.
Youth Resources Niagara is a multifaceted agency that consists of two residential, and one community based program. We provide rehabilitative and supportive programs, mentorship, and a safe environment that facilitates personal growth, change, accountability, and responsibility for youth. We endeavor to provide youth with meaningful supports, programs and systems which empower them to overcome obstacles and to successfully reach their full potential within a safe and secure community.
Extra Judicial Measures Program
Extra Judicial Measures Program is open to both female and male youth under the age of 18 who have committed an offense under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). This program is legislatively mandated and serves as an alternative to formal charges and court processes.
David S. Horne Supportive Reintegration Housing Residence
David S. Horne Supportive Reintegration Housing Residence is an eight (8) bed residential facility for young males who have had involvement in the Youth Criminal Justice System. The facility was named after David Stanley Horne, a sergeant with the Niagara Regional Police force, who was instrumental in establishing Youth Bureaus in the Welland and St. Catharines, Ontario areas.
The Ray and Pat Wagner House
The Ray and Pat Wagner House is an eight bed residential group home for males between the ages of 12- 18 who are in the care of Family and Children’s Services (FACS). The Home was named after long-serving Board member Ray Wagner and his wife Pat. Ray and Pat Wagner dedicated much of their working and retired years helping to enrich the lives of young at risk individuals in Niagara.
