Providing individualized services to divert youth from risk;
Providing both intervention and prevention services; and
Working collaboratively and in partnership with youth, their families, other agencies and our community
About YOUTH DIVERSION PROGRAM
Youth Diversion has and continues to help youth and families in the Kingston Frontenac Lennox and Addington Counties for 50 years. Youth Diversion helps youth overcome challenges by: Providing prevention, intervention and educational services that divert youth from risk and support their ability to thrive.. Each year we help more than a 3000 children and youth through our 5 evidence informed programs such as addictions services, educational supports, mentoring and youth justice. At about an average cost of $2.00 a day for a youth to participate in any of our programs, any opportunity we get to stretch funding dollars and recognize cost savings all contribute to the efforts to help youth overcome challenges.
