Each year more than 110,000 newcomers arrive in Toronto. Immigrant and refugee women and their families experience many short and long term barriers to starting life over in Canada. We help women and their families build a new life in Canada, with the goal of ending the cycle of isolation and dependency.

We believe that when a woman has opportunities to realize her full potential, we are all better for it and when families get the right support they thrive in their communities. Without those supports women can struggle to support their families, families can struggle with poverty and isolation.
