Overview

This September the Woodland Cultural Centre is introducing Lunch and Learns with our Executive and Associate Directors! Heather George will be hosting virtual tours of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School and Christopher Ashkewe will be leading Truth and Reconciliation presentations. Spend your September with the Woodland Cultural Centre as we educate on our journey of truth so we can work towards reconciliation.

Our Truth and Reconciliation presentation covers topics from the Imperial context, Canada's Indigenous Policy, the Indian Residential Settlement agreement, to the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

Your donation will help support our education department to create and deliver virtual programming at the Woodland Cultural Centre. We want to continue to deliver the highest quality programs centered on a Hodinohsho:ni worldview, celebrating, and sharing Indigenous cultures, languages, and art.
