I’m raising funds in support of the Canadian Women's Para Ice Hockey team to compete at the 2024 World Challenge host by the International Paralympic Committee in Skien, Norway.
I’ve had the privilege of being a member of the medical staff for this program assisting them to reach their high performance goals. Like many women's sports, they have the additional pressures of securing their own funding for training and events while continuing to train at the highest level. Despite facing barriers and a lack of financial support, their commitment to the growth of the women's game has remained unwavering on the road towards the Paralympic Games in 2030.
