I am proud to be one of the 16 players selected to represent Canada at the 2024 Women’s World Challenge in Skien Norway from October 25-28. I was born with Spina Bifida and have had many challenges in my life and many successes. I started playing para ice hockey at age 13 and made the National team when I was just 14 yrs old and have been a part of the team ever since. Para hockey is my passion and I’m so excited to be a part of this team as we try to change the world’s outlook on our sport and have disabled women recognized as the strong proud athletes that we are. Part of our challenge is trying to get enough countries involved so that hopefully we will be included in the Paralympics one day. While we have received some support recently it is still not enough and we still need to do most funding on our own. Any support that you could give to me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
