I am proud and honoured to be chosen to represent Canada at the Women's World Challenge in Skien, Norway from October 25-28!
I have been a member of the Women's National team since I was 14 years old and have carried my passion and love for playing the sport ever since. I am currently a Master's student studying exercise physiology while still chasing my hockey dreams of one day having our sport be included in the Paralympic games.
Though playing this sport has brought me many amazing opportunities and countless memories, it has also come at a large financial cost. We as athletes still rely on funding ourselves to play the sport we love, as Women's Para Hockey does not receive funding or assistance through our National Sport Organization or Sport Canada.
I am extremely motivated and passionate to continue to lead this team of dedicated athletes as we push to grow the game, and any support will go a long way! Any donation that you can give to help me get to Worlds would be greatly appreciated.
