Women's Crisis Services is doing incredible and essential work. When I first learned of their groundbreaking podcast, She Is Your Neighbour, I was moved to connect with their team to collaborate on fundraising initiatives and do what I can as a producer to spread the word. In my work at Digital Sabbath Film Company, I have helped raise money for WCSWR through film screening events on International Women's Day, and produced a short documentary with their team, "She Is Your Neighbour", which has been screened across the country.
This year, I am walking to raise awareness of the increase in violence against women in girls, and to show support for all women who are moving beyond violence. Funding for WCSWR goes such a long way, through education, outreach, shelter services, and more, and I hope you will join me in this fundraising goal.
