Wintergreen Studios is an off-grid retreat centre focusing on education, culture, and the environment. We aim to inspire people to live more simply and sustainably, and to appreciate the interconnections between the land and living beings. 

About Wintergreen Studios

Wintergreen is a year-round, environmentally respectful space, located on 204 acres of wilderness in the heart of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. The strawbale and cordwood facilities are available for individuals or groups seeking a private retreat or meeting space and are also used for a variety of workshops and events. Offerings range from poetry and painting, to sustainable building and Indigenous teachings, as well community conferences on renewable energy and local food projects. Wintergreen has established itself as a lead environmental organization in the area, with tens of thousands of participants having visited since its beginning in 2007.
