Nicky lived in Whistler for 26 years and worked at the Whistler Medical Clinic for approx 17 of those years. Nicky loved Whistler and her job, as she found her calling in helping people, it was part of her DNA. During Nicky’s last couple of years, the Whistler primary Health Care system was undergoing a huge change. In 2021,  Whistler360 -  a community led and governed society was born and is now committed to increasing the excellence and capacity for providing team-based primary health care in Whistler. 

To that end, Nicky Hedley’s bursary has been created to help develop group and individual programs to further educate the medical support team and increase their professional knowledge, practitioner collaboration, job satisfaction and ultimately enhance patient care within Whistler 360
