True North's (formally the Wheatland Crisis Society) mission is to make sure individuals impacted by abuse are supported through shelter, supportive counselling, resources and prevention services.
We are committed to a vision of a safe and secure community without abuse.
We provide a safe place for families and individuals to stay until they are able to make a ‘next-step’. Our Shelter is a large family type residential facility that can accommodate up to 25 people (adults and children) in seven bedrooms.
In addition to our Residential Emergency Shelter Program several programs are offered to those not requiring shelter such as our Outreach and Court Support Program, Children's Outreach Program, Public Education Program, Community Peer Support Groups and more!
