Hike for Hospice 2023

Welcome to our Hike for Hospice page!

One Step At a Time, we can all support this great cause.

Walk, run, hike, or bike at Kinsmen Park on May 7.  Pre-register at this site as an individual or team OR register in person May 7 at the Kinsmen Pavilion (pledge sheets are available at town offices, Gray's Ltd, and Value Drug Mart if you'd prefer that too).  

New! Fire truck Pull led by our local fire fighting teams!!! But anyone can make a team or donate to one.   Send us your team info at info@wheatlandhospice.ca so we can put you on the schedule to pull.  8-10 pullers are required per team.  Ensure that you sign the electronic waiver please. 

Or do a virtual hike or walk anywhere you'd prefer!  Send your pics to info@wheatlandhospice.ca. 

If unable to attend, we also appreciate your donation supporting hospice palliative care in our community.

Donating is easy and you will immediately receive a CRA tax deductible receipt.

Your donation, no matter how large or small will get us one step closer to our goal...a 3-6 bed rural hospice in our own community.  Closer to home, closer to the ones we love and who love us.

Event Details:

Fire Truck Pull starts at 10 am.

Hike walk up registration and welcome starts at 11am.

Opening Ceremonies starts at 12pm. 

Choose a short walk around Kinsmen Lake or take a longer route around Gray's Park.  Either way, you'll be sure to see someone you know and feel great about supporting hospice care in our area.
