Our Mission
Go-Getters adults connecting for support, community and friendship.
Vision: To provide a welcoming meeting place for adults to participate in social;, recreational, intellectual and educational activities which greatly improves their sense of well-being.
About WEST HILLHURST GO-GETTERS (SC) ASSOCIATION
West Hillhurst Go-Getters was formed in 1975 as a social, recreational and educational centre serving the senior community. The Go-Getters provides services that address social isolation and offers alternatives to promote healthful living through participation and exercise, as well as community-based outreach services to senior residents providing the opportunity to age in place, if they choose. Go-Getters membership is open to anyone 50+ for a nominal cost per year (currently $20). A monthly newsletter makes everyone aware of the activities and special events.
