At Wellwood, we empower people to live well with cancer. 

Our team is witnessing, firsthand, the drastic effects of delays in screening, testing, treatment and surgeries. The profile of “newly-diagnosed” clients has changed significantly to “newly-diagnosed at an advanced stage.” 

This isn’t about “tea and sympathy” – this is about giving our clients concrete tools for navigating the journey – or fight  – or battle. (The metaphor each individual chooses is as unique as they are.)

These continue to be challenging times for small charities. Wellwood is not government funded or supported by user fees. It’s all at no cost to everyone who needs it, and that’s only possible because of donations like yours.
