The 4-H Program is about opportunities, personal development, making friends, and having fun.  4-H helps young people (9-21 years of age) learn self-confidence, new skills, communication and leadership skills, problem solving and goal setting.  There is also a Cloverbuds program being offered for children 6-8 to allow them to get a feeling for the topics covered in 4-H projects. The support that you provide to the Waterloo Region 4-H Association is used locally to ensure the continuing quality and success of the 4-H program. It allows us to offer a small discount for early membership renewals which benefits the 4-H families.  As well, your sponsorship is leveraged towards ensuring we are able to run quality leadership programs in Waterloo, developing the personal skills of our 4-H members.  It allows us to offer many special events throughout the year including a judging competition, an awards night, and sign up night.  With this financial support, we are able to encourage our members to participate in conferences, camps, shows, and apply for scholarships within Waterloo and beyond.  Your support also helps leaders to organize and offer local clubs.
