So many times we take for granted the simple things like clean water coming from our taps, but the reality is that not everyone in Canada has access to clean water suitable for drinking.
Many communities in Canada have no access seasonally but there are many that can't access clean drinking water from their taps at all.
The more remote the community, the more at risk they are of not having access to this basic necessity of life. Unfortunately, First Nations communities are the ones mostly affected.
This Earth Month I am raising funds for Water First. Their mission is to help address local water challenges in Indigenous communities through education, training and meaningful collaboration.
