Our Mission

Warden Woods is a multi-service agency specializing in services that build on our client's strengths, as we work to build caring, compassionate, just and interdependent communities by being at the forefront of positive, meaningful development that benefits our community.

Staff and volunteers work together to build community one person at a time. Whether its emergency help in times of crisis, support with everyday issues, or taking the challenge to reduce the impact of "poverty", we do our best to make a positive impact on the lives of people of all ages in our community. Forty years ago, we recognized the potential of our community and have continued to value that despite the barriers of poverty, language, and misunderstanding they face everyday.

We focus on potential and build strong, vital partnerships that enhance the quality of life and personal wellness within our community.

Our programmes and services are geared towards the entire community from birth to seniors. We offer programmes that alleviate hunger, educate against HIV/AIDS, offer support and guidance to youth and children, provide social gatherings for seniors who feel lonely and isolated, and offer opportunities for Newcomers and community women to gather and learn new skills and engage in open, honest discussion.
