Official Statements from our Voice of Carmona
August 6, 2022
Dear generous friends,
Greetings of peace and unity! In connection with our present grant applications in Canada, our Voice of Carmona’s Scholarship is available only for students who are residing in Lower Mainland (British Columbia/BC, Canada), and in the Philippines (pre-existing beneficiaries).
This scholarship application will be on a first come, first served basis. Limited number of Voice of Carmona’s Scholarships will be awarded only to the very qualified university or college students.
Btw, our Voice of Carmona’s Feeding Program is available only for families who are residing in Lower Mainland (BC, Canada), and in the Philippines (pre-existing beneficiaries).
This feeding program will be on a first come, first served basis. Limited number of Voice of Carmona’s food groceries are awarded to qualified low-income families.
Our Voice of Carmona has been practising and implementing its recovery and resiliency plans since our Voice of Carmona was founded on June 12, 1998, especially this COVID-19 pandemic.
Since 2014 of its Canadian incorporation, our Voice of Carmona’s funds are not enough for Canadian beneficiaries in Lower Mainland (BC). We have many great plans for our Canadian beneficiaries in Lower Mainland (BC).
Unfortunately, we cannot support or fund our Canadian beneficiaries since 2014. Since 2014, our Voice of Carmona has raised only Canadian$40,000 (PHP1.6 million) or Canadian$5,000 (PHP200,000) per year, mostly for Philippine beneficiaries (pre-existing beneficiaries).
We have not fully provided our two programs above for our Canadian beneficiaries because it will cost Canadian$40,000 (PHP1.6 million) per year. That means, one year of supporting Canadian beneficiaries in Lower Mainland (BC) is equivalent to supporting or funding Philippine beneficiaries for eight years.
That’s why, our Voice of Carmona needs Canadian grants as soon as possible for our Canadian beneficiaries in Lower Mainland (BC), and for our pre-existing Philippine beneficiaries.
On behalf of our Voice of Carmona (VOCS), our Scholars and VOCS' members, donors and supporters worldwide; our dear friends, thank you very much for your unconditional support and donations through the years.
Sincerely,
The Directors and Officers of our Voice of Carmona (Tinig ng Carmona)-VOCS:
VOCS Directors: Florante (Ogie) Alumia, Atty. Arman Laurito, Atty. Roderick Laurito, Engr. Peter John Diaz, Franie Maquinay, Redentor Poblete, Gerardo Palompo, and Eleonor Robas.
VOCS Scholar Officers: John Wilson Dolor, Jaela Enverga, Justine Gabo, Gian Rod Panganiban, Jeannette Balingit, Jerick Acbay, Evangeline Jamisola, and Richelle Polido.
