More than 150,000 animals are in urgent need of food, medicine, and veterinary care in war-torn Ukraine.
Veterinarians Without Borders is working with on-the-ground local partners across Ukraine to provide immediate life-saving aid and address the many needs of pets affected by the ongoing war. From delivering pet food and medicine, to implementing spay/neuter programs, administering vaccinations and parasite treatments, collaborating with local groups to rescue animals, and providing access to online veterinary services. The needs are immense and continue to grow with every passing day. VWB has been focused on getting supplies where needed most, including reaching 150,475 animals and supporting 340 communities in 2024. in 2023.
