Mission Statement

Over the past year, Variety Village has gone back to its roots through branding once again as Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario. We may have a refreshed brand and logo, but who we are and how we help children with disabilities is still the very same.

Variety-the Children’s Charity of Ontario is instrumental in raising funds to provide inclusive and progressive programming for more than 6,000 children with disabilities, their families, and the community. Variety is often referred to as a “second home” for our members; a place where they can finally be themselves and grow intellectually, socially, and physically.

Not only are we celebrating over 71 years of providing life-changing programming to kids with disabilities, we’re also celebrating our recent expansion into more communities throughout the province. At Variety, we believe kids can do anything and it is our job to figure out how. Since not every child can come to our flagship facility at Variety Toronto, we have expanded our programming to Vaughan, Markham, Newmarket, London and soon, Mississauga.

We are excited that more kids across the province will be experience Variety’s programming – but we can’t provide opportunities for these kids without you. Your support is pivotal in helping us ensure that no child with a disability is left on the sidelines. With your support, Variety Kids Can.

About This Cause

For over 70 years our goal has been to improve the quality of life and integration into society of all people, regardless of their abilities. By offering specialized programs and services, we create a level playing field without barriers, intimidation or other obstacles. Dedicated to people of all abilities, Variety Village is a great place to get fit and have fun.

Variety-the Children’s Charity of Ontario promotes appreciation, interaction, empowerment and inclusion. We facilitate the achievement of life goals for people with disabilities through sports, fitness, wellness; awareness; education; training and skills development.

Through our programs and services, we make a profound difference in the spirits and lives of people with disabilities and their families in the greater Toronto area and across Ontario.
