We have begun the second phase of gym renovations, which is to improve the lighting and upgrade the window coverings. Here are some details:
Gym lighting upgrade:
- New LED lighting will be installed in the ceiling of the gym, providing a brighter cleaner feel to the space.
- 15 new LED pot lights will be installed. These lights are sealed and will not require bulb replacement, offering improved lighting for 50,000 hours.
New and Improved Window Coverings:
- In order to better control the window lighting in the gym, plans are to install solar shades on all windows as well as blackout shades on the first two windows closest to the stage.
These upgrades will benefit Valois United Church and all groups using the gym for various activities.
