With nearly 50 years of collective experience supporting the people of the North, the Yellowknife Community Foundation (founded in 1993) and the United Way NWT (founded in 2001) are joining forces to raise funds for the immediate requirements of community groups supporting those left vulnerable by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Yellowknife Community Foundation will match every dollar donated to the United Way NWT between now and May 15, 2020, to a maximum of $50,000, to support these groups to deliver their vital programming.
