Our community development work has a special focus on food security. In 2019 we embarked on a large scale garden project called Edwin Binney's Community Farm & Education Centre. This garden has two main goals: reduce food insecurity and increase food literacy in the community.  To date, over 82,000 pounds of produce has been donated to food programs in City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County.
