The Truro Housing Outreach Society (THOS) is a registered non-profit dedicated to supporting individuals who are unhoused or experiencing housing insecurity in Truro, Nova Scotia. 
Our mission is to ensure housing security for everyone in Colchester and East Hants. We achieve this by offering emergency shelter, housing support, outreach and navigation services; Empowering our community through education, shelter diversion strategies and advocating for societal change. 
Your community donations go directly to the individuals we serve, covering costs such as damage deposits, rent, utility arrears, emergency gift cards, family reunification, work clothing, medications and more. Your generous contributions make a lasting and meaningful impact on our community.
