about

Trinity Historical Society Inc. (THS) was founded in 1964 as a not-for-profit organization to preserve, present and promote the history of Trinity and the surrounding communities that make up the area known as Trinity Bight (12 communities).

It owns and operates the Trinity Historical Society Archives (1966), Trinity Museum (1967), Green Family Forge (1991), Court House, Gaol and General Building (1996), Lester-Garland House (1997), Cooperage (2007) and Fort Point (2012).

It has achieved a number of accomplishments over the years, on its own and with partners in the Bonavista Peninsula region.
