Our Mission
Our Global Ends Statement is:
All citizens will live in a caring, non-violent community. To the limit of its resources, F.A.I.R. will strive to provide access or referral to assistance in time of crisis, and the tools and supports necessary to achieve self-worth, thereby creating respectful, healthy relationships.
1. People in crisis will be assisted by receiving immediate support, appropriate intervention and information in a respectful manner.
2. Individuals will attain a sense of self-worth through ready access to education, counselling and other supports that will help them optimize their opportunities.
3. Families will receive the education and support to effectively nurture their children – to enhance their children’s chances of reaching their full potential. Over time this will lead toward equity of opportunity throughout the community.
4. Families will experience an improved quality of life by accessing services that support and increase respectful, healthy relationships.
5. Women and their children will have access to shelter from violence, and receive information and support to live their lives free from violence.
6. All citizens will be supported in attaining skills to live lives free from violence.
