I am participating in the first ever Georgetown hike which is part of the Townsend Smith Foundation's 7th Annual Hike for Hospice. I am doing this because I believe that every individual should have access to a dignified and caring end-of-life journey.
I am proud to be part of the UNITED4HOSPICE Team. Our team is comprised of volunteers from the four Georgetown United Churches (Hillcrest, Norval, St. Andrew's, St. John's) and other Georgetown community members. We are working as one to help raise funds to build the first hospice in North Halton.
I will be completing a 5km hike on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 from the Georgetown location (Norval United Church 14015 Danby Road).
