TLC The Land Conservancy of British Columbia protects plants, animals, natural communities and landscape features that represent diversity of life on Earth. One of the ways TLC accomplishes this mission is through the use of conservation covenants (voluntary agreements to protect land forever).
About TLC THE LAND CONSERVANCY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA
Founded in 1997, The Land Conservancy of BC is a membership based Land Trust which protects land for natural, heritage, cultural, scenic and recreational values.
TLC currently holds more than 240 covenants on properties across BC, from less than a hectare in size to over 1350 hectares. These covenants protect the land from development and ensure the safety of existing ecosystems.
