Virtual Membership Drive

Normally the cost of our individual memberships ranges from $10 to $25 and our family memberships cost $50. To thank our community for their continued support and help in making the Welland Museum an affordable, fun, family destination and to encourage visits to the museum to learn more about the region’s history, we’re dropping the price of our memberships.

Individual memberships will cost $5 and family memberships will cost $20. Please note: we consider families to be 3 or more individuals living together in the same household. For example, two adults and a child or one adult and two children.

All new and existing memberships will be extended until December 2021. While we don’t know exactly when we can open our doors again, we know that they will open and we want our members to have the opportunity to take advantage of their benefits for an extended period of time given the global pandemic.

Welland Museum members receive a number of benefits:

• Free admission to the Welland Museum for the duration of your membership
• Invitations to exhibit openings and special member only events
• Subscription to our regular print newsletter
• 10% off gift shop sales (excludes consignment items and you must show valid membership card)
• 20% discount on community room rental
• Discounted pricing for archival and research services
• Reciprocal free admission at the following Niagara area museums:

  • Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum

By becoming a member of the Welland Museum you’re helping us preserve and protect our community’s heritage and culture for future generations.

You may not know that the Welland Museum is a non-profit. We rely on grants and donations to provide our services to the community. Your donations, which includes memberships and individual or monthly giving, help us bring in new exhibits so you’re learning something new every time you visit the museum. You’ll help us preserve important artifacts so future generations can learn about our history. You will help us update the museum and make sure it’s accessible for everyone.
