About THE VANCOUVER FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL SOCIETY
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival is held mid-July each year at Jericho Beach Park, featuring 40+ artists from around the world and our own back yard. The Festival is one of the oldest and best loved summer festivals in the city, consistently voted the "Best of Vancouver" in the Georgia Straight's online poll.
The Festival draws 10,000+ people each day, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and community. We're proud leaders in accessibility, with an Access team to facilitate people with disabilities and free access for their care-givers, free admission for children 12 and under, and discounted tickets for underprivileged members of the community.
