The Edmonton Valley Zoo (EVZ) has undergone a significant transformation, evolving from a 5-acre petting zoo to a 21st-century center of learning, and conservation.
The zoo offers a variety of educational programs and resources for visitors of all ages to learn about the importance of conservation and the protection of endangered species. From hands-on conservation experiences to offering subsidized field trips for schools.
The Valley Zoo Development Society's mission is to continue the transformation of the Edmonton Valley Zoo into a state-of-the-art animal care, education, and conservation facility.
