Walking for a Cause

Alvin Dixon died of cancer on July 20, 2014. He was a respected First Nations Elder, who having graduated from the University of British Columbia, worked assiduously to raise awareness with Canadians about the experiences of Indigenous children in residential schools.

He served the Church at all levels, and funds collected will support multi-year academic programs for indigenous students.
