Hi, my name is Honarine Scott and I work at the Aboriginal Ministries Council as the Healing Programs Coordinator. I am part of Team Peetabek in partnership with my mother Madeline Scott. Team Peetabeck is named after our First Nation community in Northern Ontario. My mother has been teaching, guiding and administrating First Nation education for over 25 years. She is very devoted to the students and their future. We are both very happy to be part of this fundraising initiative. Thank you for supporting future Indigenous students who attend post secondary education. Education is the key to self-determination and reconciliation!
