In 1977, under the direction of Rosanne Simunovic, the Timmins Youth Singers was born.  The choir combined the voices of local youth, providing the opportunity to explore various styles of music.  The choir was featured in numerous choral festivals and performing opportunities outside of Timmins.  As many of the loyal choir members matured, it became clear that a name change to Timmins Concert Singers was in order to reflect our membership.  In 2003, Rosanne Simunovic retired as musical director, handing the baton over to Lauri-Ann Loreto Neal.  Since then we have continued to perform Christmas and Spring concerts pursuing a variety of repertoire.  Over the years we have shared the stage with world class Canadian performers and we look forward to many more exciting years ahead.
